JR Kanazawa Station (East Gate) is a 90-minute bus ride away via the Hokuriku Railroad Bus service. The Shirakawago bus stop is a 20-minute walk from the hostel, while the Ogimachi bus stop is a 7-minute walk away. The hostel is also conveniently located a 5-minute drive from the Shirakawago IC and a convenience store is located a 2-minute walk away. Featuring heating, each room at the hostel comes with access to a shared bathroom and shared toilet. Guests sleep in Japanese-style futon bedding on tatami (woven-straw) floors. A shared kitchen provides a place where guests of the hostel can prepare meals. An electric kettle, microwave and fridge are included. A shared lounge is also available. Parking is provided free of charge on site. A free simple breakfast featuring bread, coffee and tea is served.

- Please be aware that there are no JR and other rail road services which provide direct access to the Shirakawago area.
- The nearest rail road stations are JR Takayama and JR Kanazawa stations.
- Other than the Hokuriku Railroad Bus service, guests can also take the Nohi Bus Shirakawago / Kanazawa Line buses. Buses depart Takayama Nohi Bus Centre from the #4 bus stop, and will take guests to the Ogimachi and Shirakawago bus stops in around 50-60 minutes.
*Some buses do not stop at Ogimachi.
- For guests who intend to travel there by car, please be aware that studless tires are required between November and March.
- Please note children cannot be accommodated in dormitory rooms. Guests with children are advised to stay in the private room.
- Please note that children cannot share beds with other guests and are not exempt from the guest count. Guests must book an additional room if their numbers exceed the maximum room capacity.
- Activities which involve fire, such as fireworks, bonfires and burlesques are strictly prohibited at the property to keep the traditional house safe from fire.
