Locanda Valmolin is a historic emporium in the Veneto countryside, 3 km outside Arquà Polesine. Set on the banks of the Bianco Canal, it offers bike rental and is connected by cycle path to the River Po. Rooms are air conditioned and feature an LCD TV, balcony and private bathroom with free toiletries. They are a mix of modern furnishings and antiques and some have wood-beamed ceilings or are set on 2 levels. Breakfast is a sweet and savoury buffet including homemade cookies and pies, fresh fruit and local cheeses and cold meats. Locanda Valmolin has a large restaurant serving local specialities and gluten-free products. The medieval town of Arquà Polesine is worth visiting for its historic castle. Buses stop 300 metres away for Rovigo, 8 km away. Free parking is provided.
