From the apartment you have direct view of the garden and the sunny swimming pool. A pergola supports the old wisteria with it s beautiful hanging flowers. Umbria is actually a bit like the quiet neighbor of Tuscany. away from the hustle and hassles in an undulating landscape which with time has stopped. it feels strong medieval. The landlady is occupied throughout the year to look after her guests as well as possible and if you re here once installed you will actually not want to move all that much any more.It s really worth it to go to Perugia. a beautiful cultural city and also quite fun. especially in summer when it s buzzing with young students from the language courses. Nearby is the Lago Trasimeno where you can swim. go water skiing. windsurfing. sailing and where many delicious eateries can found for a late summer lunch in the shade of a pergola and then to enjoy a beach. have a siesta and then back to the coolness of the garden and pool at home.
