Casale Poggio dei Pini is a family-managed B&B set on a hill with beautiful views of the Umbrian countryside, including Assisi in the distance. The property is surrounded by woods, and features a garden with BBQ and free parking. Poggio dei Pini is located in the Vocabolo Agatini area of Monte Petriolo, 10 km from Trasimeno Lake and a 5-minute drive from Castiglione della Valle. Perugia Train Station is 15 km away, the airport 25, and a pick-up services can be arranged. The rooms are set on the first floor of a restored farmhouse, used as such until the 1960s. Each room is en suite, and comes with terracotta floors and wrought-iron beds. Breakfast includes sweet pies, yoghurt, fresh fruit, juices, and hot drinks. Eggs, ham and cheese are available on request. You can use the kitchen with fireplace free of charge. The owners are Nadia and Paolo, a friendly couple from Rome. Free bike rentals are provided, and a free internet terminal is available.
