Family farm near town of Cortona. a beautiful town of Etruscan origin to Lake Trasimeno. The house is a stone' s throw from a small rural village and is situated in a peaceful location with panoramic views. This charming farmhouse is after a recent restoration divided into comfortable apartments. A short distance from the farm have a pedestrian and cycle route of 63 km. ranging from Arezzo to Chiusi along the canal Chiana. The old road is still used for the maintenance of the irrigation canal and locks. and dates from the sixteenth century and is a natural way without height and therefore particularly suitable for a bike ride " in famiglia" . Cortona is a must. as the Etruscan Museum Maec. The major cities that you can easily visit from this holiday home is Pienza. a UNESCO heritage and also famous for its pecorino cheese. Montepulciano with its historic wine cellars. but also the nearby Umbria with Assisi. the birthplace of St. Francis. Orvieto and Perugia .
