Casa I Cappuccini is a very nice. old. stone barn.The detached house is situated in a small village with just a handfull of houses. Calm area with panoramic view over the hills at 4 min. from the famous town of Cortona.Around the house are several terraces. where you can enjoy the sun and the view on Cortona. Plenty of parkingspace on the property.The house is situated at an altitude of 500m.. in a protected nature reserve with beautifull outlook on the Chiana valley and Cortona. The part of the hill where the house is. is named I Cappuccini . which refers to a nearby abbey from the early 13th century. where now still live 9 Capuchin monks.The house is surrounded by 70.000 m (7 ha.) of private land. with olivetrees and forests and partly bounded by an original Roman road. During summer. the pool is a great place. or one of the many terraces.But also in spring and autumn there is enough to enjoy here. In spring nature blossoms and in autumn. the trees have beautiful colourings. Especially when the sun sets. the view is magic it s like time has stood still!Note: the last 500m of the access road is steep and narrow. but the house is rather easy to reach.
