This is a nice cottage with use of the swimming pool in one of the most beautiful parts of Puglia. The Gargano is also very much loved by the Italians for its beautiful beaches. the wild white rock formations. unspoiled nature. the good food and friendly people. Mattinata is also called the gate of the Gargano. because from here you can directly visit the famous caves with boats that depart in the morning directly from the beach. Moreover. the nearby town of Monte Sant Angelo is definitely worth a visit. especially known for the cave where St. Michele appeared. You re also right near the Foresta Umbra. world famous for its huge collection of wild orchids. If ever you re tired of lazing on the beach you can take long walks and visit the many charming villages. Vieste is one of them. rich in traditions and folclore. an absolute must!
