Surrounded by its private park, 2 km from central San Daniele del Friuli, Agriturismo Contessi is a working farm producing vegetables, cereals and fruit. The property offers free Wi-Fi throughout and a regional restaurant. The Contessi’s restaurant, open from Thursday to Sunday, proposes produce from the farm. Handmade cakes and some savoury produce feature for breakfast. Set on the 1st floor, rooms have a hill-view terrace and wrought-iron beds. They are decorated in romantic red or pink colour schemes, and each includes a flat-screen TV and fully equipped bathroom. Children can visit the on-site pigs, chickens, cows and rabbits. The extensive gardens feature a children’s playground and a path leading to a small pond. The nearest regional bus stop is a 5-minute walk away.
