La Scheggia is a small medieval borgo. It consists of a large farmhouse with seven apartments and three homes. The borgo is surrounded by a large garden. There is a football field. a ping pong table and a shared swimming pool. Great care was taken during the restoration of the borgo to preserve the wonderful rustic atmosphere. The wooden beams and terracotta floor tiles are simply gorgeous. The apartments have typical rustic furniture. La Scheggia is at an altitude of 600 metres and between the regions of Tuscany and Umbria. It is very quiet and enjoys breathtaking views. The nights are wonderfully cool in summer. There are many excellent walking paths in the surrounding hills and woods. You will also find some ancient castles. The two very old towns of Anghiari and Sansepolcro are nearby and are well worth a visit.

- A fully refundable security deposit of 150 EUR will be required upon arrival for possible damages.
- Please note that bed linen are not included in the room rate. They are required to rend for an additional charge of 10 EUR per person per change.
- Bath towels are included in the room rate.
- The property does not offer kitchen linen. The guests can bring their own.
- Please note that the gas/oil fee of 45 EUR/night (Nov-Apr) is not included in the room rate.
- Electricity fees are included in the rental price.
- You are allowed to bring max. 1 pet/dog with you for an additional cost of 4 EUR/night. Pets will only be accepted if communicated before arrival.
- The use of the washing machine has an additional fee of 5 EUR/ wash
