Il Balcone Sul Golfo is 8 km from Vico Equense and 20 minutes' drive from Sorrento. It offers an organic restaurant serving home-grown produce and views of the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. This 19th-century farmhouse is still a working farm and has farm animals on site. It produces its own liquors, wines, olive oil, fruit and vegetable. These are all available to sample and buy. Guests can learn how to make traditional Neapolitan desserts, jams and other items at Agriturismo Il Balcone Sul Golfo. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room with fireplace or out on the terrace during summer. The restaurant offers specialities from the Campania region, including pizzas from the wood-burning oven at weekends. Rooms are simple and come with air conditioning, a TV and private bathroom. Free parking and a free internet point are provided. You always have good bus links to a local train station and easy access to Il Sentiero degli Dei hiking paths.
