These luxury, self-catering cottages are 5 km from Akureyri town centre and 5 minutes’ drive of the Hlídarfjall skiing area. Each offers a private hot tub, as well as a terrace with a BBQ and outdoor seating. The open-plan kitchen features contemporary facilities and a large dining area. All of Hálönd Cottages have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. Each has a flat-screen TV and DVD player. During nice weather, guests can relax on the mountain-view terrace, which offers direct access to the indoor hot tub in all Hálönd Cottages. Whale watching tours, a golf course and outdoor swimming pool are found within 5 km of the cottages. Other area activities include hiking, snowmobiling and off-road driving.
