Located on an old farm, Guesthouse Stekkatún is 600 metres from Vatnajökull National Park. It offers free parking and basic rooms with shared bathroom facilities. Thorbergssetur Museum is 25 km away. From late May to early September, breakfast with homemade jam and bread is served each morning at Stekkatún Guesthouse. Free tea and coffee is available at all times. Skálafell Restaurant is 200 metres away. Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is 30 km away. Höfn town centre is 40 km from the guesthouse.
