Less than 5 minutes’ drive from the Great Geysir, these fully equipped cottages are set along the Tungufljot River, 9 km from Gullfoss Waterfall. Each offers a full kitchen and furnished terrace. Lax-á Geysir Cottages all have a seating area with a sofa, as well as a bathroom with a shower. Some also feature a flat-screen TV, washing machine and additional toilet. For guests who come with fishing equipment, 2 fishing licenses from April to September are available at Geysir Cottages. There are also BBQ facilities. Area activities include hiking, scenic drives and a golf course, just 1 km away. Horseback riding trips can be arranged on site. Thingvellir National Park is 58 km away.
