Set in a restored country manor on its own 3-acre headland, Clonea Castle Apartments feature uninterrupted views over the sea and free on-site parking. All guests are provided with free access to The Great National Clonea Strand Hotel and The Great National Gold Coast Golf Resort. A spacious, modern kitchen and living area is provided in each Clonea Castle Apartment, as well as a gas fireplace, ironing facilities and a TV and DVD player. Reduced rates are offered on 10-pin bowling, bicycle hire and green fees on the Gold Coast Golf Course. The Castle Apartments are located 2.5 miles from the hotel complex by road or 10 minutes' walk across the picturesque Clonea Strand. The seaside resort town of Dungarvan is a 10-minute drive and features a large shopping centre, pubs and restaurants.

Please note that Clonea Strand Hotel’s Rooms / Food & Beverage Services are now closed for 2012 season and will re-open 17 May 2013. The Clonea Leisure Centre, 10 Pin Bowling and Playloft will remain open.

Check-in/out for The Clonea Castle Apartments will be from the Gold Coast Golf Hotel reception, which is approximately 5km away. Directions to the hotel are as follows:
Take the N25 (Waterford - Cork Road) to Dungarvan. The hotel is well sign-posted from the N25. From Dungarvan: You catch the R675 from the small roundabout within Abbeyside, which is the eastern side of Dungarvan across the stone bridge which spans the Colligan River. If you're on the N25, take the first Dungarvan roundabout on the east (Waterford) side of the town. About 100 metres from the N25 exit you'll come upon the R675 roundabout.
