This award-winning, family run farmhouse is surrounded by trees under the Slieve Mish Mountain. Guests can enjoy free Wi-Fi, power showers, and full Irish breakfasts. Light and freshly furnished, each spacious room at Tom and Eileen’s Farmhouse B&B enjoys an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. Some have mountain or garden views, and you can relax with orthopaedic beds covered in electric blankets, a TV, and free tea and coffee. Using plenty of local produce, breakfasts are served each morning and include pancakes with toppings, smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, or hearty, traditional cooked breakfasts. Castlemaine village is only 1.5 km from Tom and Eileen’s, and guests can enjoy horse riding just 3 km away. Canoeing and cycling is available less than 20 km away.
