Overlooking the fishing village of Portmagee, this Valentia stone house enjoys views of the sea, islands and Kerry Mountains. It offers large rooms with sea views and free Wi-Fi. The famous Ring of Kerry is a 15-minute drive away. Carraig Liath House offers tastefully decorated rooms with orthopaedic beds and work desks. Each includes a hospitality tray with free tea and coffee. Bathrooms come with hairdryers. Free range eggs, pancakes and local smoked salmon can be enjoyed next to the traditional full Irish breakfast. Overlooking the harbour, the property’s patio provides a nice setting to enjoy home baked cakes. This Carraig Liath B&B is only 5 minutes’ walk from Portmagee, where guests can sample traditional music on Friday and Sunday nights, or partake in the Irish night on Tuesday nights. Skelligs Islands can be reached within 50 minutes by boat. Trips to the Skellig Islands can be arranged on request.
