Sitting on Liang Beach, the eco-friendly, luxury dive resort offers Minahasa-style bungalows with a hammock and views of the clear lagoon, which has rich coral reefs. Wooden four-poster beds draped with a mosquito net are standard features in all the air-conditioned bungalows. The Balinese-style en suite bathrooms come with open-air warm water rainshowers and a hairdryer. Full-board Indonesian meals, coffee and tea are provided at the open-air restaurant, which overlooks the entire beach and the tropical landscape. Bunaken Island Resort is a 45-minute boat ride from Manado Harbour. From there, it is a 25-minute drive from Sam Ratulangi Airport. Transfers can be arranged at an extra charge. Guests can arrange island day trips at the tour desk, or rent diving and snorkelling equipment to fully enjoy the marine wildlife. The resort also has barbecue facilities and laundry services.
