Les Chataigners is a charming detached residence in a beautiful French location. About 5 km away is the town of Lormes. with a characteristic church. Here you will find all of the basic services such as doctor. chemist. supermarket. bakery. cafes and automatic teller machine. There is also a beautiful lake with a small sandy beach. The hills and forested surroundings are beautiful for walks. A walk to the waterfall of Lormes is highly recommended. There are lakes. castles and old towns in the immediate vicinity: Vezélay. Avallon. Autun. In the summer there are weekly typically French markets.The surroundings are exceptionally suited for various sports such as canoeing. horseback riding. mountain biking. quad riding. rafting and abseiling. There is a folder in the residence containing the suggestions for various excursions in the surrounding area.
