This stone-built country house. with its typical door. has been transformed from an extremely ancient carpentry shop.Its new vocation has retained a picturesque soul as a reminder of the region with its conifer woods.The upstairs floor is supported by spruce beams that lock into the external walls.Behind this typical rustic Auvergne façade lies accommodation that is extremely comfortable. the finishing touch of which is the wonderful brightness of the living rooms.This quiet cottage. although adjoining other houses. is only disturbed by a cat.... a distant cow s bell.... the peal of church bells and the baker s hooter.The houses have been built so that everyone can feel at home without being disturbed by the neighbours while taking an aperitif on the small lawn which is totally secure for the safety of the children.It s a real haven of peace. a place you could say that lends itself to meditation.
