Located next to Lake Kemijärvi, this family-run hotel is 300 metres from Kemijärvi village centre. It offers free Wi-Fi and free use of a lakeside sauna building with a cosy fireplace lounge. A kitchenette with microwave, fridge and tea/coffee facilities is provided in each Rantahotelli Uitonniemi room. All include lake views, as well as a TV and modern bathroom with shower. BBQ equipment and outdoor seating can be enjoyed on site, along with a restaurant that is open on request. Swimming and fishing from the jetty and sandy, private beach area are possible at Uitonniemi. Canoes, fishing equipment and sleds are available for rent. Staff can help arrange lake cruises and safaris with snowmobiles, reindeer or huskies. Another area activity is downhill skiing at Suomu Ski Resort, 35 minutes’ drive away.
