Tento romantický Historie hradu sahá až do 1231 a nabízí překrásný výhled na fjord a přístav Faaborg, která vede ven na Funen souostroví. Na 5000 m² Hvedholm je jedním z největších hradů v Dánsku a zahrnuje 10 hektarů svěží zeleně parku. Grand cihel a pískovce fasádou byl přestavěn hrabětem Bille Brahe Selby na konci 19. století. Hvedholm je elegantní pokoje s baldachýnem lůžek, která jsou prostorné a vkusně zařízené. à la carte restaurace patří mezi nejlepší v regionu. Sál od roku 1880 se 150 místy. Každou sobotu, jsou ochutnávky vín se konalo ve sklepě, kde hosté mohou ochutnat 6 vybraná vína z hotelové vlastní výroby a od dovážených zdrojích.
