Nestled among the well-known narrow Mediterranean streets in Stari Grad on the island of Hvar, Holiday Home Bakina Kucha is a renovated 100-year-old stone house. Restaurants and beaches are only a short walk away.

Bakina Kucha Holiday Home provides a cosy stone-wall interior with old-fashioned furniture. Small details, such as an antique iron filled with pebbles and pine cones, are there to evoke the warmth of grandma’s house, which is the meaning of the property’s name in Croatian. A fan is provided for hot summer days.

The focal point of the house is its lounge with a sofa, a TV and a dining table with a corner bench. The kitchen comes with full amenities enabling you to opt for a homemade meal rather than going out. A ladder staircase leads up to the two pastel-toned bedrooms. A washing machine is in the bathroom for your convenience, along with a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries.

A stroll through Stari Grad streets is an experience for all the senses with its lavender scent, sea breeze on the skin, delicious local wines and seafood, the sound of the waves and picturesque Renaissance architectural remains. A ferry port is 2 km away.
