In a castle dating back to 1903 and with a rich history, B&B Heydedijck is set in 6400 m² of grounds, including a lily pond. The dining room and suites contain antique features. Zichem is 2 km away. With an ornate 19th-century bed, each very spacious suite has wooden floors, a seating area and flat-screen cable TV. Some include a chandelier, sloped ceiling or round window. The modern, private bathrooms include free toiletries. On arrival guests are offered a local beer. Breakfast is served daily and on certain days a set menu dinner is available in the hosts’ private part of the castle. Barbecue facilities are available and within a 15-minute drive there are several restaurants. Heydedijck B&B has bicycles for rent and the surrounding area offers lots of cycling routes. The pilgrimage site of Scherpenheuvel is 5 km away, while Leuven, famous for its beer, is within a 30-minute drive. Zichem Train Station is 1.5 km away.
