Set on 150 acres of beautiful landscaped grounds, Quamby Estate offers a 9-hole golf course, a tennis court and several lakes and hiking trails. Guests also enjoy a restaurant and bar. The 1820s manor offers rooms with free WiFi and free in-house movies. Quamby Estate boasts a guest lounge and dining area with high ceilings and a marble fireplace. Guests are welcome to explore the grounds which feature 2 lovely gardens and interesting historic buildings including a shearing shed. All air conditioned rooms feature original artworks and a mixture of restored antique furniture and modern décor. Each room includes a LCD TV and a DVD player. A marble or stone bathroom with heated flooring is standard in all rooms. Some rooms offer a spa bath or a fireplace. The Clubhouse Bar & Restaurant offers a selection of local wine and serves gourmet dinners using seasonal Tasmanian produce. Breakfast options, available at an additional cost, include eggs, sausages and bacon, fresh or poached fruit and home-baked bread. Quamby Estate Hagley is 20 minutes’ drive from Launceston Lakes & Wildlife Park and a 30-minute drive from both Launceston and the Launceston Airport.
