Overlooking the lovely Mersey River, Birchwood on the River offers rooms with a lounge area with a flat-screen TV with a DVD player. All have a balcony or a patio with river and garden views. Guests can watch the Spirit of Tasmania cruise past from the front of the property. Birchwood on the River is a 2-minute drive from the heart of Devonport and a 15-minute drive from Devonport Airport. Guests can take day trips to Cradle Mountain, The Nut, and Stanley which are all within a 1-hour drive away. All heated self-catering rooms feature a dining area, and a kitchen or kitchenette. All have a toaster, microwave and fridge. They offer an outdoor dining area and ironing facilities. The en suite bathroom has a hairdryer, and towels and linen are provided. Set in lovely gardens, the property offers BBQ facilities and a guest laundry.
