These self-contained holiday villas are just a 5-minute drive from Whyalla town centre. Each includes a modern kitchen, air conditioning, and spacious living area with more than 100 satellite TV channels. Playford Lodge offers a choice of two 3-bedroom townhouses, each with a fully equipped kitchen, separate living area with 42-inch plasma-screen TV, modern bathroom and private laundry. The villas were refurbished in 2009 and include outdoor entertaining areas with gas BBQ facilities. Secure off-street car parking is provided. All linen, crockery and kitchen utensils are supplied. For guests who prefer not to cook, it is only a 5-minute walk up Angwin Street to The New Whyalla Hotel, which serves home-cooked meals. The Whyalla foreshore is 5 minutes’ drive away.

The keys to the villas are stored in a key safe located on site. Playford Lodge will contact you several days before your stay to provide you with the unique access code. Detailed instructions on how to open the key safe are located on site and guests can contact the owners of the property if they have any questions. For guests arriving at night, there is a sensor light which will illuminate the verandah area where the key safe is located.
