Situated on a small island off the town of Largs, The College of The Holy Spirit is on Cumbrae. With free onsite parking, this Christian retreat is located next to Britain’s smallest cathedral, The Cathedral of The Isles. Overlooking the gardens, the rooms include tea and coffee making facilities. Each room has use of a shared bathroom or has its own en suite facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Guests have use of The College of The Holy Spirit’s library and 2 common rooms. The neighbouring Cathedral of The Isles is open daily for services and reflection. Homemade meals are available upon request. Dating back to 1851, this historic building is set within 8 acres of lawns and woodland. It is just 5 minutes’ walk from the sea. There is a labyrinth for guests to explore, on the lower lawn. Open to everyone, regardless of faith or belief, The College of the Holy Spirit is also available for conferences, functions, and weddings.
