The Hole in the Roof is set in the heart of the historic seaside town of Deal, 10 minutes' walk from both the train station and the beach. Situated above the Hole in the Roof public house, it offers contemporary, en-suite accommodation with free WiFi access throughout. There is a fire pit in the in the front terrace, which guests can reserve. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, black-out curtains and tea/coffee making facilities. En-suite bathrooms come with a power shower, free toiletries and cotton towels. Some rooms also include a sofa bed. A hairdryer and ironing facilities are available on request. Breakfast options include a full English breakfast or a choice of cereals. All food is freshly prepared using locally sourced ingredients. Located below the hotel is Paolo's Kitchen, which offers a full daytime and evening menu including a variety of vegetarian options. Deal is within easy reach of the ferry ports at Dover and Folkestone, the Eurotunnel terminal is around 25 minutes away, and the Eurostar station in Ashford is around 40 minutes from the town. The Hole in the Roof is just over 10 miles from the historic city of Canterbury.
