Situated in Edinburgh’s New Town, Walton Guesthouse offers free Wi-Fi access and free on-site parking on a limited basis. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Edinburgh’s Old Town and its famous castle can both be reached in a 20-minute walk. Several languages are spoken at The Walton aside from English, including German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Polish and Russian. An en suite shower is provided in most rooms, with a bath included in the large double room. A TV and tea/coffee making facilities are also provided. A full Scottish and continental breakfast are served each morning in the dining room, along with pancakes, lightly poached haddock and warm porridge. The nightlife of George Street and shops of Princes Street are both within 10 minutes’ walk, and the Royal Botanical Gardens are a 5-minute bus ride away.
