This family-run bed and breakfast is situated in historic Christchurch, with its old harbour and priory. It has a traditional log fire, and offers al fresco dining on its patio or deck during the warmer months. Situated in both the main building and the neighbouring annexe, the rooms at The Rothesay are elegant in design, with traditional furnishings. Each comes with a TV and facilities for making tea and coffee, while some have a four-poster bed. Guests can enjoy free parking in the large private car park. There is a heated indoor swimming pool, and The Rothesay also has a sauna, relaxing patio, decked courtyard and gardens. Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 09:30 each morning. The modern dining room overlooks the garden, where you can often see squirrels playing and even coming up to the windows.
