Dating back to 1854, the Holly Lodge is quietly situated in the centre of Windermere. Bowness-on-Windermere Ferry Terminal is just 5 minutes’ drive away and Windermere Railway Station is a 5-minute walk. The Holly Lodge offers a comfortable guest lounge with an open fire and free Wi-Fi in public areas. The individually decorated rooms feature a flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite shower rooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. In the mornings, guests can select a dish from the breakfast menu. The options include full English breakfast and vegetarian alternatives, served alongside a selection of teas and coffees. The lodge is less than 5 minutes’ walk from various shops and restaurants. Windermere is within the popular Lake District National Park, which is famous for its lakes, mountains, and forests. Guests can enjoy lake cruises and bus tours around Lake Windermere. Private parking is available at the Holly Lodge upon request.
