Set in wooden building offering charming views of the surrounding mountains and forests, Cosandere Hotel is located in the bucolic Cosandere Village, named after the gushing river passing through it. It has a fish farm with several ponds, where trout fish is grown and offers various hiking tours. The eco-friendly Hotel Cosandere provides soundproofed accommodation with mountain and river views and free Wi-Fi. Units feature a TV, telephone, dining area and a private bathroom with a shower. Dishes from local Black Sea cuisine are offered at the hotel restaurant. These include mihlama which is a corn flour pudding prepared with a local cheese, meals and soups prepared with kale, fresh trout and anchovy and rice pudding dessert. Hiking tours to the region’s many idyllic plateaus are arranged upon request. Guests can also visit the fish farm on site. Airport shuttle services to Trabzon Airport, 38 km away, are provided at a surcharge.
