Situated in the former fishing village of Figino, a 5-minute walk from the shore of Lake Lugano, this youth hostel is surrounded by a big garden. It offers free WiFi, an internet corner, a restaurant, and a playground. All private rooms and dormitories at the Youth Hostel Figino feature parquet flooring. The shared bathrooms can be found on the corridors. Typical Swiss cuisine with a Ticino touch is served in the restaurant on a half-board arrangement. Packed lunches are available on request. Please note that if booked before 15 June 2015, non-members of the Youth Hostel Association have to pay a day membership fee of CHF 6 per person/night or of CHF 12 family/night. For bookings made after 15 June 2015, room rates include the daily membership of Swiss Youth Hostels and Hostelling International.
Please also note that the last bus from Piazza Rezzonico to Youth Hostel Figino leaves at 20:00 during the week, 19:30 on Saturdays and 18:30 on Sundays.
