Situated by Kulksjön Lake, STF Saxnäsgården offers spa treatments and skiing possibilities. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower. Ricklundgården Museum is 100 metres away. A fully equipped communal kitchen is available in all 4 buildings at STF Saxnäsgården Vandrarhem. The common rooms offer a TV, seating area and free Wi-Fi access. Guests can work out in the fitness centre or relax in the swimming pool and sauna for an extra fee. Bicycles, canoes and boats can be rented on site. The staff can help arrange guided fishing trips and snowmobile safaris in the area. Regional specialities are served at the in-house restaurant, which offers panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Known for its scenic beauty, the 500 km-long Vildmarksvägen (Wilderness Road) passes right by the hostel. Marsfjället Nature Reserve is a 30-minute drive away.
