Set on 1,080 metres above sea level in the Almenland Teichalm – Sommeralm Region, the Almhaus offers a more than 100 year old wooden hut featuring scenic views of the hilly surrounding. The villages of Sankt Kathrein am Offenegg and Heilbrunn are within 7 km. Equipped with solid wooden furnishings, the traditionally furnished and rustic hut is located on two floors. The lower floor comes with a terrace, a living area with a kitchenette, a cosy parlour with a tiled stove and a seating area, and a bathroom with shower and toilet, while the upper floor offers 2 bedrooms and a balcony. Barbecue facilities, outdoor furniture and a hammock can be found at the garden of the Almhaus - Hütte in der Region Almenland Oststeiermark. In winter, wood for the tiled stove is provided and on request, the owner can heat the hut before arrival. In summer, guests can enjoy the nature during a hiking and mountain biking tour, and the Teichalm – Sommeralm Ski and Hiking Area is a 20 to 30-minute drive away. The city of Weiz is 15 km away, and Graz is 50 km away.
