Offering peace and total privacy, yet just 5 minutes’ walk from Russell's wharf and town centre, Tahapuke features direct access to a private beach from the outdoor terrace with seating area and BBQ. Tahapuke Lodge is decorated with modern decor and furnishings and offers expansive views across the sea to Paihia and Waitangi. Guests enjoy exclusive access to a private island from the lodge’s small boat. Each of the 3 bedrooms features an en suite bathroom. The open-plan living/dining area includes a fireplace and a large flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The large fully equipped kitchen includes a breakfast bar. Separate laundry facilities are also provided. Set on 5 acres of native landscape, there are 2 tracks that lead uphill from the lodge to arrive at a pair of peaceful Maori Pa (defense settlement) sites situated at each end of the property.
