This atmospheric holiday home is in a delightful location. It is the old harbour of the historic town of Hoorn. The building was a warehouse and is listed on the National Register of Architectural Monuments. It is maintained to a high standard and enjoys a view of the harbour. The home has every convenience and a spacious interior. The living room has TV, DVD, radio and CD player, kitchen is equipped in a oven, microwave and dishwasher, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms with shower and a toilet. You can relax on the patio or in the garden, where BBQ and garden furniture are to your disposal. The house has central floor heating. you can enjoy your stay on the pati, in the play area or in a bowling alley.Hoorn is a beautiful, historic city on Lake Ijssel and was formerly owned by the Dutch East India Company. There are delightful harbours, sluices, museums and charming outdoor cafes. You can enjoy the view of passing ships and the lively harbour. The holiday home is ideal for lovers of water sports. The whole area has a relaxed atmosphere and exudes warm hospitality. You can enjoy walks and cycle trips along Lake Ijssel and take a boat out. The historic towns of Enkhuizen, Medemblik and Alkmaar make excellent day trips. The exciting city of Amsterdam and the North Sea Coast are also well worth a visit.
