This pretty Black Forest guest house features elegant rooms, regional cuisine and a large beer garden. It lies in the picturesque Kinzig Valley, 2 km from Schiltach. Free Wi-Fi, large beds and floor-to-ceiling windows are featured in every room at the Gasthof zum Pflug. Interiors have high ceilings and solid wood furniture, and there are attractive red shutters at the windows. Some rooms have a balcony with forest views. Guests can start the day with a breakfast buffet. Traditional Swabian and Baden meals are served in the Restaurant zum Pflug, which has a tiled fireplace and carved wooden pillars. Ortenau wines and fresh beers are served at the bar. The Tuscan-style terrace with large sun umbrellas is ideal on summer days. There is also a sunbathing area and a children’s playground. Located on the B294 road, the guest house offers easy access to the charming villages of Wolfach (9 km) and Gengenbach (37 km).
