Just 3 km from the Mayan ruins of Ek-Balam, the Parador Turistico Xaman Ek offers lush gardens, an outdoor pool and a traditional Temazcal sauna. Rooms include hammocks and free Wi-Fi. Each rustic-style room at the Xaman Ek has a seating area, fan and fridge. The private bathrooms include a shower and free toiletries. The Parador’s bar-restaurant opens until 18:00, serving typical Yucatecan cuisine. You can also buy locally made products in the on-site craft shop, or arrange visits to nearby archaeological sites and cenotes at the tour desk. The Hubicu and Agua Dulce cenotes are within 10 km of Parador Turistico Xaman Ek. while the beautiful colonial city of Valladolid is 20 km away. Holbox Island is a 2-hour drive away.
