Just a 13-minute drive from JR Nikko Station and Tobu Nikko Station with its complimentary shuttle, Pension Hajime no Ippo offers comfortable basic rooms with a Japanese-style living area. It features a garden, laundry facilities and a PC that can be used free of charge. Free Wi-Fi is available. Pension Hajime no Ippo is less than a 20-minute drive from the ancient Nikko Toshogu and Futarasan Jinja shrines, both part of a Unesco World Heritage Site. Rooms are air-conditioned and come with twin beds, a living area with a low table and seating cushions on a tatami (woven mat) floor, and an LCD TV. Bathroom facilities are shared and yukata robes can be rented at a small fee. Guests can relax in the Pension's hot public baths, or reserve one for private use. Upon request, Hajime no Ippo (literally 'the first step') arranges hiking trips, pottery making, paragliding, noodle making and glass art classes. Hajime no Ippo Pension offers a breakfast and dinner at the dining room. Guests can choose between Japanese and Western dishes at every mealtime.

The hotel offers a free shuttle to/from Tobu Nikko Station and JR Nikko Station between 15:00 and 16:30. To use it, please make a reservation at the time of booking.
Public baths are accessible from 15:00 to 23:00.

To take part in one of these classes, please request at the time of booking: glass art, soba-noodle making, paragliding, pottery making.
