A 10-minute walk from Nozawa-Onsen Ski Resort, The Sunrise Meiji-ya boasts 13 different types of natural hot spring baths. It features Japanese-style rooms, drinks vending machines and a souvenir shop. Coin lockers are available, and free parking is on-site. Guests are welcomed with a sweet azuki-bean bun that has steamed over a hot spring. In addition to hot spring baths, there’s also a public hot bath at Meiji-ya. Rooms have a tatami (woven-straw) floor, with either Japanese futon bedding or single beds to sleep in. All rooms have heating facilities and a TV. Toilets and bathing facilities are shared. A Japanese breakfast is served at the dining room. Sunrise Meiji-ya is 5-minute drive from the Nozawa-Onsen Ski Resort, and a 15-minute taxi ride from JR Iiyama Station. JR Nagano Station is a 75-minute bus ride.
