Located a 15-minute drive from JR Karuizawa Shinkansen (bullet train) Station in the highland resort area, Asagiri-so provides cosy Japanese-style accommodation fitted with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. It features 4 tennis courts and bicycle rentals. Each air-conditioned room at Asagiri-so comes with large windows, traditional futon bedding and a TV. A low table and seating cushions are also provided. Bathroom and toilet are shared. The property offers free luggage storage and a safety deposit box. Drink vending machines and washing machines are available on site. Shinano-Oiwake Train Station is a 10-minute walk away, while Hoshino Onsen hot spring bath is a 10-minute drive from the property.
