Machiya Residence Inn Shikoku-an is a traditional Japanese-style townhouse updated with modern facilities. It includes a kitchen, living area, flat-screen TV, washing machine and attached bathroom with a Japanese Cypress bathtub. Free Wi-Fi and a laptop computer are also provided. This property is about a 7-minute walk from Kiyomizu-gojo Train Station and Takashimaya department store, and an 8-minute walk from Kawaramachi Train Station. Higashi Hongan-ji Temple is a 10-minute drive away. From 2 to 4 guests can be accommodated. Bedding consists of 2 Single beds (Western-style), and 2 sets of Japanese futon bedding on a traditional tatami (woven-straw) floor. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, and toaster. Guests can enjoy the the finely preserved architectural details of the property.
