Cosy apartment in a big stone villa. located on a hilltop. overlooking the Orta lake. The old building used to function as horse stable for the nearby Castle of Miasino. until it was recently restored. The old details have remained. giving the apartment a unique sense of style. The apartment is colourfully decorated and has a warm atmosphere. The bedrooms on the attic are divided by curtains. not doors. giving the floor a spacious feel. You’ll be amazed by the extraordinary bathroom with it’s chandelier and photo-framed walls. A large garden surrounds the villa. Sit back in your private part of the garden. and enjoy the breathtaking views over the Orta lake and Mount Rosa. The apartment is located in Miasino. Lots of baroque villa’s can be found in this picturesque village. where you can go out for dinner in typical Italian trattoria’s. The Orta lake is a 3km distance of Miasino. and is said to be the most romantic of all Italian lakes. Walk alongside the lake and enjoy the nature. On hot summer days you can go for a swim. or practise one of the many possible water sports. Besides Miasino. you should definitely pay a visit to the island of San Giulio in the middle of the lake which can be reached from the coastal town Orta San Giulio (3km). The bigger Lago Maggiore is at a distance of 19km.
