Villa Lauretana is a former 17th century monastery. The villa was later bought by a noble family. It has recently been completely renovated by the current owners. The elegant villa and its garden are in the city of Lauro. It is in a prime position near an ancient castle. The villa is furnished with antique furniture throughout. This creates a delightful atmosphere. There is a small chapel, a music room and a number of living rooms. The garden is 2,400 m2 and has many attractive trees and plants. The caretakers family live an apartment in the grounds. You can enjoy excellent excursions to Lancelotti Castle in Lauro, the Royal Palace of Caserta and the medieval hamlet of Caserta Vecchia. The historic cities of Pompei and Ercolano are well worth a visit.
