Amid the mountains of the wild Westfjords region, Einarshúsid Guesthouse in Bolungarvík is a restored building from the turn of the 20th Century. With a traditional country house décor, the guesthouse also offers free WiFi. Rooms at Einarshúsid Guesthouse have either views to the dramatic mountains or over the Ísafjardardjúp fjord. Each room has a seating area and heating, and bathroom facilities are shared. The guesthouse features an outdoor terrace where breakfast and lunch can be taken on long summer days. A 2-minute walk from the property guests will find an indoor swimming pool and outdoor hot tub, while there is also a Natural Research Centre 5 minutes’ walk away and boat trips to Hornstrandir leaving from the harbour. Transfers from Ísafjördur Airport can be arranged, with the town of Ísafjördur just 13 km from Bolungarvík.
