This northern Iceland property is within 25 minutes’ drive of Hofsos and Saudarkrokur. It features Wi-Fi access in public areas and a guest computer, along with an on-site hot tub and an outdoor swimming pool. Well-equipped kitchen facilities can be enjoyed at Holar Cottages and Apartments, either communal or private. Basic guest rooms with shared bathrooms are offered, as well as self-catering apartments and cottages with a TV and seating area. Some include a washing machine. A weekday lunch restaurant is open year round, with a dinner menu available in the summer. Holar Cottages can also arrange packed lunches and provide maps for hiking trails in the surroundings. The Icelandic Horse History Centre and Holar Cathedral are both just 20 metres from the property. Free private parking is available on site for guests wishing to explore the area.
