This family-run countryside guest house is in Mosfellsdalur Valley, 18 km from Reykjavik. Wi-Fi is free, and the fresh, simple rooms include access to a shared TV lounge and kitchen. Tjaldanes’s rooms have shared toilets and showers. A daily breakfast buffet is available. Guests can play board games in the TV lounge, which features a selection of books and magazines.
