Set within its own private gardens and grounds, the Ballykine House was a shooting Lodge, formally owned by the Guinness Family who lived in nearby Ashford Castle. This 200 year old lodge is surrounded by woodlands and 5 fishing lakes, including Lough Mask and Lough Corrib and offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The Ballykine House features a games room and a library. The rooms at the property offer a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite bathroom features complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. In the mornings, the house serves full Irish breakfast. Home to the 7th century Cong Abbey, the historic village of Cong is 5 km from the house and offers several restaurants and pubs. Overlooking the famous fishing lake of Lough Mask, Ballykine House is situated just 20 minutes’ walk from the picturesque village of Clonbur. Lake cruises to Inchagoill Island are available on Lough Corrib, a 15-minute drive away. There is a wide range of walking and climbing routes in the scenic woodlands and mountains.
