Set within its own private gardens and grounds, the Ballykine House was a shooting Lodge, formally owned by the Guinness Family who lived in nearby Ashford Castle. This 200 year old lodge is surrounded by woodlands and 5 fishing lakes, including Lough Mask and Lough Corrib and offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The Ballykine House features a games room and a library. The rooms at the property offer a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. The en suite bathroom features complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer. In the mornings, the house serves full Irish breakfast. Home to the 7th century Cong Abbey, the historic village of Cong is 5 km from the house and offers several restaurants and pubs. Lake cruises to Inchagoill Island are available on Lough Corrib, a 15-minute drive away. There is a wide range of walking and climbing routes in the scenic woodlands and mountains.
