Hegarty’s B&B has stunning views of the countryside around Garvary in County Donegal. A 4-minute drive from the nearby village of Burnfoot, it looks out to Lough Swilly and Inch Island. Offering well-appointed accommodation, Hegarty’s has a large outdoor terrace and enjoys an elevated position. All rooms have en suite shower facilities, and a main bathroom has a bath which guests can also use if they wish. The bedrooms are light and fresh, and the Family Room has its own private entrance through French doors opening on to the sun deck. Each room has tea and coffee facilities and a flat-screen TV. Inch Island, with its nature reserve, is a popular area for birdwatching and just 13 minutes' drive from Garvary. The ancient An Grianan Fort, dating back to 1700 BC, is just over 10 minutes away. The property serves an Irish breakfast with locally produced bacon, and continental options including croissants and fresh fruit and yoghurt.
